The Viewing
In memory of Clarence Bailey
The smiles come, and the smiles go
Emotions become high, and tears do flow
Loved ones so dear
from far and near
Bringing love and respect, they all do show
Some they are strong, and some they do morn
Some will hug others, while emotions are torn
They all gather in
good friends and kin
Bursting with comfort, like the blast of a horn
With flowers of white, and flowers of red
A pillow so smooth, placed under his head
The room softly lit
sheets snugly fit
He lie calm and serene, asleep in a bed
The time has now come, the time is now spent
Emotions comforted, lots of love been sent
Support been given
tears been driven
His spirit happy now, toward heaven went
Goodbye
