I should have told her

Written as a song

I had once met a girl, to me she meant the world
I fell head over heel, for it was real

But she liked another guy, for he had more style than I
So I left her all alone, and now I moan

She never knew, that I loved her too
She'd just turn away, what could I say

So I'd dream about her, with her soft silky hair
But I could never catch her eye, for I was too shy

The time finally came to leave, and I begged of her please
To write, so I'd have a chance, at our romance

So now here I sit alone, haven't heard from her for so long
Thought love could conquer all, but I feel so small

I guess is should have told her, how I felt about her
But now it's just too late, and yet I still wait
